The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Ms. Caroline Ziadeh, met with the Third Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Issues and Human Rights, Ms. Emilija Redžepi in Pristina .
SRSG Ziadeh and Deputy PM Redžepi discussed mutual priorities regarding human rights and the protection of the rights of all communities in Kosovo, elaborating on key activities currently being undertaken in this field, notably on the rights of people with disabilities, language rights, inclusion of the Roma, Ashkali, Egyptian communities, and advancement of women’s rights and gender equality.
